Trudi Schuurhof-Simon made Canada her home almost 10 years ago. She studied and obtained her Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) Professional qualifications and obtained her Fellowship in 2002. Trudi then continued her studies while living in the UK and obtained her Masters in International Finance at the University of London Metropolitan University (LMU).

These qualifications allowed her opportunities to work at top Hedge Fund Administrators – gaining an excellent working knowledge of this industry. Over the past 20 years, she has worked her way up from a Fund Accountant to Management Level, gaining an intricate knowledge of different accounting systems, people management and understanding what is required to keep customers satisfied.

This knowledge has put her in a better position and helped her make a decision to give back to her community – serving where there is a need for Financial Knowledge. She holds her Life License Qualification Program (LLQP), registered in Nova Scotia and also has her Canadian Investment Funds Diploma and this has provided her with a foundation needed to become a Financial Coach. She has also gained her Mortgage Brokerage Licence. Her goal – to help Main Street families be more aware of how to better manage their finances, and have access to the right tools and move closer to attaining debt freedom and be a goal to be financially independent.
